Dr. David Khoo is the founder and Medical Director of iHeal Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. He began his medical career in 1989 at University Hospital Kuala Lumpur and within 4 years, he qualified as a Surgeon having obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He subsequently had subspeciality training in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) and underwent a Fellowship in Advanced Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic, USA in 1996. He was appointed as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Institut Jantung Negara in 1999. He started his private practice in Ipoh Specialist Hospital in 2000 and since then practised at Subang Jaya Medical Centre, Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre and Prince Court Medical Centre before finally setting up iHEAL Medical Centre.
